The whole line of the spirit mountain express lift is very low , especially for a high speed lift.

How about Little Hawk lift at Eldora? The entire line is roped off because the chairs have such a low clerance. The lift almost looks like it could have been a T-Bar at some point in the past. Could this be true?

Some Killington low lifts:
Snowdon Triple at the top of conclusion. South Ridge Triple at the second bullwheel at the mid-turn! Both used to be midstations.

The High Peaks lift at Gore comes pretty close to the ground.

one day i was riding the lift, and it was fully loaded (this is not very common) I came to the low spot which northeastskier reffered too which in normal times is about 10 feet off the ground, however it was so low, my skies actualy fragged along the ground, flat. this happend twice. once the load had been reduced, it had returned back to the normal hight. I Had never seen this before, or since, and i have ridden this lift hundreds of times. tension issues, i can only guess.

the little hawk lift at eldora came from steamboat, always a double. speaking of eldora, there is a low clearance on the corona lift about 1/2 of the way up.

I think the Little Hawk, previously known as "Ho Hum" has always been at Eldora. I just thought it may have been a T-Bar privously looking at the lower terminal design and the fact that the chairs come so close to the ground the entire length of the lift (which is not very long being a beginner's lift). The only Miner-Denver chairs I know of which have been removed from Steamboat were: Headwall, Thunderhead, Four Points, and Burgess Creek. Interestingly enough, all of those were retrofitted with Yan double chairs also. The only Miner-Denver I know of with original carriers was Gemini at Winter Park which had center-bar carriers and was removed in 1993. All of these lifts, however, were in service during the same era as Ho-Hum/ Little Hawk (thank goodness they changed the name) and were removed too recent to be relocated to Eldora. I think the year built they have was somewhere around 1968. I know there was a TBar somewhere on that side of the mountain prior to that just not sure if it was the exact same lift.
