I was wondering where can you get a kit to build a model of a lift or how to build one without a kit

You can find model kits on ebay.com and sometimes at toy and hobby shops that sell model trains. Your best bet is to find a model train store site and look for any small chairlift models on there. I have been able to find the Telus tram and a few small chairlift models. I think Brad might know the name of the brand that makes the models since he built one a couple years ago.

Brawa makes a model gondola, a tram and double chair you can buy them at walthers.com don't bother buying the expensive transformer to power these models a $15 basic one will work fine so long as the output is correct. Infact your single chair looks like the a Brawa

I´ll wait for the webmaster´s email cause the following link shows that Christian´s first posted pictures showing his Girak model chairlift could be seen in the alpinforum since 17th of december 2002 20:31 !!!

So ski_Lift_modeler´s statement would rather be a case for the justice then for a webmaster

I wouldn't worry too much about ski_lift_modeler, he has been MIA since July 07.
