Here is a Girak gondola that looks like a state of the art prison on top of a mountain.

Mine too. But DV doesn't have them on their lifts. I only noticed it when I saw it at PCMR on the Payday triple chair

Hey, this is Access Express at Bear Mountain. Is this terminal really as short as it looks!?!?! I don't remember it being unusually short when I rode it a few years back.

Is it just an optical illusion of sorts?

I thought Bear Mountain only had two HSQ's, one a CTEC while the other is a Garaventa CTEC which was just installed like two years ago?

That place sure looks crowded.

So I did some back tracking and I have found a total of 3 HSQ installed at Bear Mountain. The Big Bear Express is a 1990 CTEC HSQ still in place, the Access HSQ was installed in 1998, while their was another HSQ installed in 1994 by Garaventa CTEC with a length of 5515, veticle of 1188, and capacity of 2400. Does anyone know what happend to it? Maybe it was never installed but I think that CAski posted a picture of it for the trivia section.

It only has two HSQ, and I have never seen more than that when I have traveled there.

Manufacturers plaque (Garaventa) from the Norquay double chair at (guess where?) Mt. Norquay. I also saw a couple of the old Hall Lift plaques mounted on the wall in the bar at the old Sunshine Inn. Most likely these were from the old Standish or Angel chairs.
