I guess I should have taken a picture of the speedometer at that moment too, which was hovering at around 5 mph.

Snoqualmie Guy- from where the photo was taken, there is no other way. You're well stuck in it at that point.

Not a sign, but I just read somewhere that Welch Village Ski Area has banned "aggressive carving"
"We will not allow what we call extremely aggressive carving as it does too much damage to the hills and is causing injuries to those who get stuck in the ruts. 99% of the people with carving equipment do not cause this damage.
Sincerely,
Welch Village Ski Area, Inc. 26685 County Rd 7 Welch, MN 55089 651.258.4567 "
Hmmmmmm...

I know people don't know better, but this sign makes me crack up every time I see it.

Snoqualmie could use about five of those terrain park signs. And though people ride chairlifts all day they still can't figure out that some do NOT slow down for them.

I think that on every lift in Colorado, it says, "Lift does not stop unless requested."
I've ridden every lift in Colorado except for a couple built in the last two years and I too have never seen a sign that resembles that text.

I guess I should explain that a little better. It's not its own sign, but rather is included on the general information and warning signs. I think it comes after "If unfamiliar with lift, ask attendant."

Hate to continue contradicting you, Matt, but 'if unfamiliar with lift...' et cetera is all those signs say. I've mounted plenty of them in two states.
