here are some of the new lifts that were installed over the summer in Tahoe, first is the Old Homewood express

Do you have any specs (vert. rise, length) on the Timberline? I'm planning on hitting Northstar in mid-March.

i don't know the exact specs on the lift, But to take a guess id say the lift is roughly 500 feet of vert, half a mile long. Again, these are just off the top of my head, the lift however doesn't really service any terrain worth skiing for enjoyment.

Are they planning on connecting Alpine Meadows and Squaw Valley?

No, the lift is on private property.

What's the story with that lift at Squaw? Is it under construction or closed or something else? Why are their no sheaves or a haul rope?

It is being built by an individual so progress has been pretty slow.
