This driver missed judge how much space he needed to make the driveway at a truck stop out in Oklahoma ,last winter. Happended over night during a storm. I woke up the next morning, and there he was

OUCH!! Our garage told me I was the only one who didn't bang up our trucks this summer! We only have 'em for two and a half months and by the time they go back to the lease company they're beat-up 
! I took care of them like I do my own car. They were never pre-tripped daily and now that I'm there that's gonna change!

those are just some of the wrecks , back at the home office. A couple you can hardly tell are trucks.
The ones in the photos will be stripped down parted out. Other side of yard are to ful size chasis, waiting for the cab and engine to be put back on.
Most of these wrecks are driver fault. aka Preventable. Not paying attention, not slowing down for conditions, falling asleep.

all of our raft rental drivers are usually 18-25 years old (except for ONE, I think you know who that is !) with little or no large-vehicle experience and they just don't pay attention! I had a good trainer and now that I've learned even more I will train our new drivers the right way!

although the trucks at school are Freightliners. Hey I'm cool with that! Ya gotta learn on something!!

My Cavalier finally died- the fuel pump cost more to replace than I paid for the car in the first place. I got my money's worth out of it though. I bought it two years ago for $200 and put 33,000 miles on it. Its replacement is a 1990 Nissan Pathfinder XE with 135,000 miles on it. It's a little beat up and I'm currently working on it every weekend, but it only cost me $900 and so far it's only improved. No power whatsoever- the old Cavalier could have beat it in a stoplight drag- but it gets me where I need to go. I took it down to GJ this weekend and so far it's been running strong.

yeah my Cav is starting to feel a little tired--has to downshift more than it used to. Don't know what I'd replace it with. Hell, I've owned it twenty years!

Looks like starting next week my car goes into hibernation for the winter and I'll be using my dad's truck. There goes my gas bill 
! Especially since I drive to Turlock from Yosemite once a week 'till February.

For some reason I have always been drawn to small cars such as Hondas and Volkswagens. I guess this way I can have a dream car for only $300 and have a small gas bill unlike EagleAce

87 VW Fox, 96 VW Jetta, 06 VW Jetta, Dodge Crew Cab Diesel(company truck), Thank God the company pays the fuel on the last one. My son is driving the 87 and does not want to change up to the 96, this is my youth replayed, I think he has an attachment to the sound system in the 87 !

I don't care for small cars that much because if you get in a wreck you're SPAM in a Can!! Hondas are WAY overrated...I don't see what the big deal about them is; and I can't stand the souped-up Civics. I'm using my dad's truck because it's fullsize 4WD. My gas bill with my Cav is small.
