Well World Series Tickets went on sale this morning, 8.5 million attempts were made at purchasing in the first 90 minutes, so it crashed. They only sold 500 of 80,000 tickets that were supposed to be sold.

not quite 80,000.
Coors Field only seats about 50,500. 20,000 of those will be available for sale, the rest go to season ticket holders, the two teams, and MLB.

They are selling 25,000+ per game for a total of arround 80,000, This whole mess is really annoying since I was trying to get tickets and the whole system was really messed up by what they are calling an external malicious attack.

Rockies will make a come back. I think having the 8 days off is what has caused them to loose the first game really badly.

C'mon all you westerners, I'm suffering mechanics block, you know the tune, but I need more words.............
Let’s all root for the Rockies,
Let’s all give them a hand,
Give them some Coors and altitude,
And Terry Francona some attitude,

Well they gave it a good run. The Red Sox will be really good for the next few years, the way things look right now. Who knows how many times they can win between now and 2090. Congrats to Lowell though, former Marlin and now the MVP. I was really pulling for the Rockies but they looked pretty dead the whole series. I thought they had it last night at midnight when Jamey Carroll took one a few feet from being over the wall in left, but Ellsbury made a nice play and it was over anyway. There's always next year I guess
