I have actually hiked up Hyak and skied down miltiple times since I last rode the lifts there about 10 years ago. Now, back on topic.

Ay, mate, that's how we "used" to do it at JH. Full tool box in the work chair, along with grease guns and the usual spare parts. The regular chair behind was full of sheaves.

Howard Anderson, the Insurance Inspector from those days, had a heart attack when he saw that......

We toned down the weights just a wee bit....

We were travelling way lighter for the rest of the service; but on this day we were pulling some assemblies apart and needed to align this particular tower so we had to bring every wrench we own so we didn't forget anything!

That would be a Thiokol.... pain in the neck to align, but a very sturdy and dependable lift... cool picture

You've dealt with Howard as well, eh? Good guy, had his 'things' he'd get worked up about though.

yes that would SUCK to get all the way up there and :censored2: find yourself short of tools!! :cursing: :cursing:

I've had that happen while wrenching on my :censored2: car! I'd have to go down to the store and buy some tool cause I didn't have the one I need!

and I see you've got the most important tool--the DeWalt boombox!

Yes as a matter of fact it is. 1979 Yamaha XS11 Special. There were four of us that got them new in 79. This is the last
survivor and it is still in great condition.

I guess I'm at that age where I want one again, I had a 79 then I got a Midnight Special. They were( and I guess still are) great rides, take care of her (and your lovely wife)
