That seems to happen a lot...the announcers say someone is in a slump or really hot or the like and then they go and do the opposite
Hear about how King George was interested in Pedro Martinez a few days ago?

Okay have to bring this topic back up. What is everyone's predictions for this years post season. Mine- Red Sox- Yanks in the ALCS with the Red Sox victorious. In the NLCS I think the D'backs and the Cubs with the Cubs coming out on top. In the World Series I say the Red Sox take it in 6 games! What are your predictions? Yankee bashing is allowed hehe.

I don't think that they will go very far in the playoffs but I've got to root for the Rockies to at least make the playoffs. I agree that over all that the Red Sox stand a good chance at a series victory this year.

Rockies are in. I'd cheer, but I'm not all that interested. It does bring out all the fair-weather fans up here, though.

Yep and it was 12 years to the day that they clinched the wildcard, this time and the only other Rockies playoff berth. Its kinda good that they dont have replay refs in baseball though because the last run scored by the Rockies by Holliday he didn't touch the plate but was called as safe. I guess it was just retrobution for the homer that was called a double earlier in the game that would have won it for them.

I lucked out and had tickets to last nights game, greatest game I've seen there in a while. I didn't sit at any point in the game and couldn't believe the energy the crowd brought to the game.

Let's go Rockies!!!

I picked the Brewers to win it all in April, but now that they're out, let's go Rockies! I just want them to knock off the Phillies, I really hate them. Great that the Rockies won, they're our expansion class of 1993 buddies, and even better that Jorge Julio was almost the goat. He had a 12.54 ERA in 10 games for us early on this year, I blame our whole crappy season on him. I just don't want to see another Red Sox-Yankees ALCS

Rockies are up 2-0 in the series. Final score yesterday afternoon was 10-5, I believe.
