I believe the Worldbook stated that there are 2 complete drive systems and some extra cabins. They can shuffle between them I assume.

I think we need to move this question over to another topic as we are offtopic now.

Yes but I will be doing ropeway stuff in Greece.

What kind of "ropeway stuff" will you be doing and how long will this "job" last?
Sounds exciting!

Not to worry. 100 years from now it won't matter...and it probably will make your Mom happy. That counts.

I'm out-of-here tomorrow AM with my wife for vacation. Flying to Munich (Octoberfest!) and down to Sterzing, Italy for a visit to the Leitner Factory. A lot of other places, but also a stop in Perugia, Umbria, Italy for a tour of the APM that Leitner is installing and is now undergoing tests prior to commissioning.
I'll take pictures!

Arrivederci,
Dino

William, you are a godless wanker. Just wait 'till HANK gets his hands on you.

Have fun and don't catch anything...

 I've been on sporadically in the past few weeks, and it will continue until I figure out why IE keeps freezing up on me. I think it is at least partially sentient- every time I try to download Netscape or Firefox it quits before the software download is complete. I can't close any window I have open because all ofthem close simultaneously (and then I get that annoying 'send error report?' screen). Send error report? Believe me, I have. The next one I send will be the original disk, reduced to powder with a hammer, directly to Redmond. I'm having good luck this morning but it may be the last time for a while. I may pop up at work but inevitably I get a radio call as soon as I log on.

Liftmech,
Just a thought - Something that has worked for me in the past:
On top of your radio, there is a twistable knob on the left hand side....if you turn it to the left....
