A wonderful day of mountain biking at Breckenridge! Some of this was hiking too. Don't worry, I didn't go under any ropes to take these pictures.

A couple of projects being done at once requires a bit of multitasking.

I would have had a ladder on the seat, as I was going to be grinding the terminal support pylons, but that was already over at the lift.

There are three roads to ruin; women, gambling and technicians. The most pleasant is with women, the quickest is with gambling, but the surest is with technicians. Georges Pompidou

Well, it wasn't as fun as it could have been. Although the terminal should look better for it though. Turns out that the paint that I got for the lift (Clippership) wasn't the right shade of Gray, and that despite having three other shades of gray on the paint bench none of them were the right shade to match what is already there. Overall though, this grinding and painting was a lot better than the tower grinding that I had to do a week before.

I know that it is really :offtopic: but can ski areas use farm grade diesel, or do they have to use road legal diesel for snow grooming equipment?

I know that in Quebec we are obliged to have road legal dieseel AND gasoline, for already having had the experience of getting stopped in the middle of cleaning the parking lot after a snow storm at around 3 am to test if I had illegal biodiesel or road legal gasoline

I would think groomers could use the red dyed non-road diesel.

In BC you can use marked fuel (less tax) in snowmobiles, cats, lifts. Anything that does not run on public pavement.

From what I understand here in CO. You can use red diesel on lifts, cats, and so on. As long as it's off road or farm. When I got my truck it was running Off Diesel becasue it was used on a farm.

We use B20 biodiesel in everything - lifts, groomers, heavy equipment, generators, compressors, etc.
