Not yet, still warm enough to break a sweat. We sized all our rigging for the new bullwheel so that we wouldn't have to change halfway through. It turned out to be about a ton heavier than the old, so purchase of new chain falls was necessary. Removal went very smooth, hopefully installation goes as well. And, of course, we've gotten the brand-new paint all scratched and dirty already

All the foundations are done except the top 3, bottom terminal is taking shape, still no towers or sheaves in the parking lot. Towers will be flown around September 15th.

This is a really cool video from Doppelmayr posted 2 days ago. This time, they put a helmet cam on the crossarm being flown for the Lady Morgan Express.

And some footage of Shirley Lake Express being built at Squaw:

No catwalks, just those funny rails. It's shinier than anything else we have!! And it's not the YAN so we don't have an extra 100 carriers to gusset!

Allan, looks like you've got the Doppelmayr version of the infamous Pomapass... not as good as a catwalk but better than nothing at all.

Skier- where is Lucky Shot being regraded? Are they taking out all the rollers over which one can catch massive air?

...and our new bullwheel moves a final twenty feet...

I think so. So far there has been no progress. I think they are going to use all the rick and dirt that they took off the top of Northway Peak.

The person who works for Doppelmayr really like making these point of view videos. It looks like there are a bunch now.

Great to see that they have the time to share their work with the industry, but like the Vail #10 "destruction"(FYI, there was never any input from the owner to do a test like Winter Park on this lift), they have too much time on their hands.(OK, I'm a Dinosaur and never had the technology (to photograph) while I was riding in the concrete bucket from tower to tower. When they're freezing their :cursing: fingers off in November, they may reconsider their efforts while wearing T-Shirts in July.
Lift Maintenance is different than Lift Destruction/ Lift Construction.
As liftmech says (where did you hear this?) "Maintenance is a Marathorn, Not a Sprint".
"Construction is a Sprint, Not a Marathon"

I watched these videos...WOW...I feel like I am inside videos to do installation the tower, head, wheels, etc. It is fun and learned a lot.

Thank you, Skier.
