Frequently bales of straw will be spread over freshly seeded areas and disturbed ground to help in erosion contol and to prevent the seeds from blowing away, which may well be the case here.

Theres a place for all of God's creatures, right next to the mashed potatoes.

"You could say that a mountain is alot like a woman, once you think you know every inch of her and you're about to dip your skis into some soft, deep powder...Bam, you've got two broken legs, cracked ribs and you pay your $20 just to let her punch your lift ticket all over again"

Does anyone have any pictures of the projected lift line for the new Village to Village gondola at Mont Tremblant? Any pics of construction if it's already begun. Intrawest says it will be operational by Summer 2008. How far ahead would they have to start building to get it done for that time frame? Any information on manufacturer and configuration?

Thanks

Where was Vail keeping those new lift parts? At the base? On the mountain? (please specify as I would like to get pictures of them this coming week or two)

I thought the HSQs at Dollar were going to have the UNI-G terminal design, because right now those terminals look like the UNI-GS.

For Crystal how are they getting all the stuff up to the top? Are they going to use a heli or tuck it on all the roads to the acess road?
- Jeff

Why couldn't they of come up with "Global Cooling"?

Dude, your in Sun Valley, and all you can do is sit around watching guys build a lift? Should have told me you're in town, I would have taken you up to the Boulder Mine ghost town or something really cool.

Very cool pics dude, good job.
