The lift in question isn't intended to be used both ways, but there is a section with only a shallow gradient and people quite often do it when that lift is on and there's a head wind on the way down.
More interestingly there is a T-bar that serves what is marked as beginner terrain on the Trail map on my local hill and the steepest section of the tow track is actually downhill
