Well my favorite is how it says in the Porsche Cayenne agreement, "This is not an offroad vehicle. Do not take this vehicle offroad. Doing so will void the warranty." Who the hell would want an SUV like that!
Yes Lift Kid, I-70 can be a bitch. But that is mainly because of people who have inadequete winter driving skills/equipment. Snow tires are a necessity.

I know. But the 3.5 hour trip from where I-70 was in the foot hills to the Dillon Exit is pretty bad if you ask me. That was during the 2nd blizzard of the 3 in a row this year.
Just got to know the shortcuts and how to drive in bad weather.
3.5 hours in a storm of that size isnt bad for Denver to summit, try 7 hours for the same route. If you are going to live in or visit the mountains anywhere in the world you have to be willing to accept the inconveniences that nature sometimes throws your way.

I've learned that over the 10 years that I have been going to Colorado.

I've lived in my present house for about fifteen years now - and this morning, in a fit of passion (prompted by my shaving lather being stuck to the shelf), I decided to clean the master bath medicine cabinet. This was probably this first time it's ever been cleaned. I can't explain it - the thing just pissed me off. While spraying and scrubbing (after having removed no less than 1500 lb. of "womanly potions"), I could not help noticing the signature of the moron that built this house. Look at this picture. Notice anything wrong?
The same guy installed the bathroom exhaust fans so as to recirculate (the stinker). The kitchen hood fan was installed so that it neither exhausted nor recirculated cooking fumes through the filter - it was just "dead-headed". As I renovate this box, it seems that every project is another chapter in the long sad saga of American "construction"... and it seems I bought the book.
Wonder if the bastard was "union".

If 'this side up', why is the mounting hole slotted down? Is that for where gravity doesn't work?

Not really a sign, but.........
This is a clothing label from a small American company that sells their product in France.
Here's the translation of the French part of the label.
Wash with warm water.
Use mild soap.
Dry flat.
Do not use bleach.
Do not dry in the dryer.
Do not iron.
We are sorry that Our President is an idiot.
We did not vote for him.
The company that made this tag is called Tom Bihn Design. They made a shirt in honor of the tag. Proceeds went to benefit the Seattle Vet Center's Homeless Vet Program. They Rock!
