I count 29 lifts for Doppelmayr CTEC this summer, and there probably will be more.

As for who's building it, Sun Valley ownership loves Doppelmayr so much they put fake Uni-M terminal skins on all the older triple chairs at Snowbasin
I know this will be a little off topic, but I want to air one quick grievance. I can't stand seeing "registered trademark" next to everything at a ski area. It really cheapens the experience to see "Breck Connect Gondola ®".

Ski resorts provide a service, not a good so I can't really see the big deal with trade marking everything other than the resort's name. It probably won't be long until resorts start suing one another over similar names, kind of like Starbucks and McDonalds have done because they feel the consumer can get the names mixed up.

So when was the name Ruby Express, ( why not the other hsq's?) trademarked by DV.
Deer Valley does not , to the best of my knowledge trademark the names of chairlifts.
Every lift there has been named after mining claims, and or people. I was there when both Rubys lifts were installed, there was never any talk of trade marking the name.
If this is the case why didn't DV trademark the ski run name Tycoon, yet PCMR named a run Tycoon , off Mc Conkeys.
Maybe Oldschool can give us the word. :)

Little trademark signs next to the lift name on a trail map do look really bad. I haven't noticed it anywhere else, is Vail Resorts the only group that trademarks lift names?

Did you consider that is where the resort puts thier trademark on the map? That the map or any likeness is trademarked.?

That's kinda strange, it won't take you to Daly Bowl/Chutes. I didn't hear this from anyone but I figured it would be Lady Morgan Express, or a new name

I had the same reaction when I found it out, too. Although, I could end up being totally wrong...but that's what they said.

What was told to me,
It is a new lift, not a replacement. It will be to the west of Empire and the top stattion will be below lady morgan bowl. It is a lift purchased by developers so they can market and sell ski-in/ ski-out residences and condos.
No name for it yet.

Why do you need a chair to the top of Dayly's. You can already ski to it from the top of Empire. Put a chair in there, and your going to have so much trouble with lower level skkiers getting into something over their head. Dalys doesn't need a lift.
