Constam Lifts

I believe that the old lift at Steamboat's Howleson hill was a Constam as well. It was originally built as a combonation single/t-bar and ran all the way to the top of Emerald Mountain. It was shortened some time later to where the current poma terminates and the chairs were removed. The original lift line is still visible and there are a few remains of the old terminal. You can hike/bike/x-c ski up to this point as it is on public land. I recall hearing stories about people being lifted off the ground on the t-bars from that lift, too.
