Your power feed comes across the East Channel, right? Does any part of the island have power back at all?

Yeah, all the schools have power of course. I think around 85% of the island is back up, but not me yet. Now they say Sunday at noon.

Ouch. I have relatives off East Mercer Way and they're in the same boat as you Skier. We just got power back last night (out in the May Valley area). We were lucky; we had one tree fall and miss the house, and another is leaning, fortunately away from the house. Hope you get your power back soon.

Wow, I just got my power back, exactly 1 week after it was knocked out. 168 hours of darkness.

Janek

I see that the Dale Carnegie course you completed didn't do you much good. For one, vulcans and welders are PEOPLE...Not some lake-bottom slime to be demeaned and slandered by mechanical engineers.
