To me Corbet's takes the cake. The day I was there, the cornice was 15 feet.

I'd say it's already lift serviced- Rex and chair 3- but maybe that's just me.

Can't say I'd miss the I-5 traverse out of there, that's for sure.

Sorry, lousy image. Taken right after the 120 inch storm at JH back in 87. Corbett's was FULL of snow. No "mandatory air" at all. It was amazing!

Thats one of best runs off Hyak. The short hike gives you a added steepness and longer run. Bad in sticky stuff

All my photos of lakelouise were really washed out as it was nearly a whiteout when we skiied the back bowls but dear me was the snow amazing. The ultimate steeps were supremely awesome!

This is a photo of one of the many chutes back there, at least half a dozen in total. From the lake louise website.

The elevator shaft atop the larch chair. This was after about 45 mins of hiking through wind packed snow, we decided to drop in here the chute is to the right of the rocks and had a lot more snow that it might seem from the picture, up to my waist where i was taking the photo. This was taken in early January.

The Wall at Kirkwood is the steepest run I've ridden. Instead of a double diamond they use a skull and crossbones symbol.

Nice. Internationale looks steep enough covered with snow, and it looks plenty rocky then.

Seeing as Nevis Range here in Scotland has had a mention, here's a couple of photos of the Entrance to Easy Gully (removed from the trail map due to the name - it's an easy ice climb not ski run!).

The Wall at Kirkwood is steep, but its a wide open slope, in my opinion there's more challenging and interesting terrain at Kirkwood.
