I havent heard a specific date but I would expect that they would open the base and the base lifts soon.

I saw a sign up at the Berghaus saying it and the Peak 8 base lifts were opening in December. No date, though.

Of course they will be open for the holliday rush. Even half of the front side of keystone isnt open because there doesnt have to be opened yet since crowds arent that big yet. They are still making snow on peak 8 and they have stoped making snow on the main runs to the base so they are likely going to open the entire peak at the same time and probably peak 7 as well but you never know.

They have begun sringing the wire to pull the haul rope for Brecks gondola. The peak 7 station also now apears to be complete. I hope to have some pictures of the progress this weekend. Also peak 8 opened today.

Isn't that roof new on the end of that terminal? All of the Uni GS's that I have seen don't heve that or the balcony thing. Anyone know what I'm talking about?

Yeah, at first I thought it was a Poma Challenger dwarf terminal.

I never noticed that other UNI-GSs don't have that, but looking at some pictures, it looks like most of them don't. Here's one picture of the overhang with no balcony, and another with no overhang

There has been one cabin added to the Breckenridge gondola line with another on the contour of the lower station. Also the loading platform for the Shock hill looks to be mostly complete, they work working on the panels in the shack yesterday. Looks like they are moving allong with the completion.

Just what i want to see another 'wonderfull' picture of a chairlift.
When i was still working there, and the added the first cam, i called the people in charge of it, and suggested they show more of the mtn. They said no, gave me some lame brrain excues, not worth repeating here.
When i click on a resorts web cam, i want to see skiing, or the surounding views. Not pictures of a chairlift.
Think i'll make a call tomorrow as i pass thru Park City on my way to the coast. The WEST COAST that is
