They sure could be a retro-fit...but the fact remains that it was an original Yan design. Our old Sultan lift didn't have lifting frames and our existing Burns lift doesn't either.

sterling lift at D.V. is nearly complete, return terminal is in, top is 90% done, still missing the low voltage, apu, and soffiting. both lift shacks arriving this week. haul rope is here and should be up shortly. carriers are here and are being put together this week. also tombstone at the canyons towers are all in and aligned. nothing as far as stations go though. i will try and get some pictures next weekend and post them.

How do you say "Butt Ugly Colours" in French?

I don't know but I agree with you. I could maybe understand if it were a kids lift or something but its too long for that.

Lots of new photos of the Snow Ghost Express at Big White

I still can't understand why they would put a six pack parallel to a quad. It is like they just wanted to put in a six pack and didn't even care where.

Well it appears that Mt. Bachelor's new Pine Marten Express is going to be a UNI-GS terminal rather than a UNI-G one.

Big White Snow Ghost Flyday Tuesday Oct 3.
All the ladders face up the hill, it was a good day.
Last two pics are fueling up and draining condensate.

Actually Transwest has three in service right now, out of Chilliwack BC.
The pilot we had "KO" had an incredible touch, heaviest picks were 5700 lbs, he fueled in 200 litre (55gal) squirts. They spend most of their hours helilogging.

Ain't nothing like working under a 214, about a mile out we'll put on the music..................

"Flight of the Valkiries"?

Ahhhhh Wagner, but it was really 204 and 205's in that movie, we flew some stuff with a 204-1/2 once, it pulled real well
