It looks like from this photo on chairliftpaint's website that Little Thunder at Big Sky is finally complete after a few years of construction. It is the old Riblet Millicent lift from Brighton. Chairliftpaint, do you have any more pictures of it? When I was there in the winter, it was half done.

Milli didn't go anywhere...Majestic did a couple years back...if that's Majestic...I'm glad to see it didn't go to the scarp yard

That's wat I meant. It only has about 4 towers and I think a different top terminal, so a lot of it went to the scrap yard.

I wonder why these towers are on the ground at YC?

It is possible to say that that lift is the old Majestic, but in truth it isn't (necessarily). It is rather parts from the majestic lift. I say this because if you look at the old pics of it, you can see that it had a couple replacement towers as well as a replacement drive terminal. It appears that only the replacement towers were used on little thunder. If the top terminal is new, then that pretty much leaves only the carriers as possible originals from the original install of majestic. And there is the probability of those having been replaced over the years too.

the towers at YC are for a lift they are extending. They are adding a few new towers and moving the lower terminal downhill about 600 yards.

I guess I missed something.
What's with the tunnel?
Snowbird Website has information about the tunnel. Skiers and snowboarders don't have to go up to top and go down. They go through the tunnel to other side of the mountain.

New (used) Riblet triple at Marquette Mountain. I think this may be the old echo triple from Northstar, does anyone know for sure where it came from?

There are new pics of Big white at www.Bigwhite.com They show "summer grooming" as a groomer moving dirt and getting ruined. I thought summer grooming meant cutting back brush!

You can't ruin a t4. thats what it has done all this summer and last summer. If you put a bully or a br out there it wouldn't last a week.
That's Doug Jamieson smearing the dirt, NOTE the spill kit in the passenger footwell.
