How come you want to ditch it? How much traffic does it get? A site should be up a while and that way the search engines find it. When NWS first started I only was getting 2 hits a day and the forum was very slow to get started I averaged 3 posts a week. After about 9 months it started to pick up.

Keep it!
The last thing the web needs is less websites on skiresorts and lifts

Well I guess you could say that we compete with Dave's site, chairlift.org. But were not enemies or anything and were both non-profit so theirs no harm done. Also this site just isn't going to be a chairlift gallery site, but a technical resource site too. We hope this will convince more people to join the forum and help improve the site.

You can still put together your site and such, like with Jack and Dave (Hyak.net and chairlift.org), we work together, and the information on my board wasn't taken from their boards, so we all work together. A true meaning behind your site, if you are going to make it technical would be to go out and get the info, by mailing the resorts, shadowing, etc. Put that together so its your blood, sweat and tears. The people who come to your site will appreciate the site more because of all the hard work you put into it.
Look at Dave, Jack or Myself, we have all put years into our sites and we are reaping the benefits.
