It won't be long until Mt. Bachelor starts taking down Pine Marten Express. It looks like the process has already begun.

Funnel is gone you can see about as much of it that is left on site in the picture. Assy hill still has its rope and the chairs are neatly stacked at the bottom but the lift shack has been removed. Any one know what is going to happen to The Assy hill lift? from what I could see it is in great shape for 37 years old.

Are they planning on removing Naked Lady lift also?? The "Renassance of Snowmass" section on their website calls for it this Summer, however, maybe there is not enough time or maybe they are leaving it until they have a place to reinstall it at one of the other mountains or sell to anther area. Naked Lady likely does not have many hours on it since it was installed in 1981 and only ran full time up until 1993 when Alpine Springs HSQ went in which took away the need to open Naked Lady chair except for extremely crowded days which are fairly rare at Snowmass.
Skiing since 1977, snowboarding since 1989

I have not heard much about naked lady but I had heard that it has not even been certified for the last few years so I dont know if they would even bother reinstalling it.

Theres a place for all of God's creatures, right next to the mashed potatoes.
"You could say that a mountain is alot like a woman, once you think you know every inch of her and you're about to dip your skis into some soft, deep powder...Bam, you've got two broken legs, cracked ribs and you pay your $20 just to let her punch your lift ticket all over again"
