Today going through some old SAM magazines I came across the manufacturer BM Lifts. I don't remember hearing or knowing anything about this lift company. Although I did noticed that they did install a lot of lifts in Canada rather than the United States. They also did have a lift ad in SAM, although I didn't look very hard.

Thanks

Could it be Mueller lifts, maybe under a later name? (I'm completely making this up, I have no real idea)

I doubt it, Mueller used one name right up until the end.

Nope, if you look on those lift installation pages from SAM that I posted, Mueller is GMD Mueller and Leitner is on their also and advertise as Leitner.
.    LEITNER is a Canadian company, formerly called
"Blue Mountain" and "BM Lifts", and last year they installed a FG six-
pack at Snow Valley, ONT.
Mh. Firstly, Leitner isn't Canadian but Italian. I really don't know if all of this is real.

Maybe BM is Canadian ?

Maybe and Leitner bought them out when they were only in business for only a few years.

BM stands for Blue Mountain. When Leitner came into North America they purchased the company from the Mannsberger family. They than used their facility for manufacturing and engineering. BM instaaled lifts primarily in eastern Canada.

I noted in the provided SAM stats that BM installed a lift at Canada Olympic Park. I may be down in Calgary in a few weeks. If I have time, I'll go over to CAP to get a few pictures.
