Where is that lift? It looks like Crystal's old Chair 2.

Looks like Miner's Basin, where it crests the top by Lower Bull Run and Deer Fly.

I dont ever think I have ever seen a chairlift with two dfferent types of carriers on it before. Well, at least not this different.

Heh, on our Thiokol we have 96 carriers of one design, and 1 of another :)

At A-East, the main lift there had both center pole and bail carriers on it. That lift must have been a pain to load people since you would have to switch hand locations every time you bumped the chair.

The day Jonni was there, I don't think the lift was open. Notice that Okemo is making snow down below and I presume that it decided to take off the carriers so it wouldn't have to deal rime build up on them when it fired up the lift again.

Watch this video to see what allan is up against. Be sure to watch the last rider at the end to see what I'm talking about. :)

How is that allowed?
Chairlift n. A transportation system found at most ski areas in which a series of chairs suspended from a cable rapidly conveys anywhere from one to eight skiers from the front of one line to the back of another.

Well there isn't much they can do about it since this video has already made its way around the net. I mean a hardcore skier isn't going to be on the Red Resort website looking for the coolest moves, he's going to be on a site like Big Lines, where this video came from.

Does anyone remember that one ad from like 2001 of a snowboarder grinding down a lift's haul rope? I think Burton put it out, but I'm not sure. That was a pretty cool picture I thought.

I didn't realize it was on our site. The same guy clipped onto the ground of the high voltage power lines and hung from a rope... the even worse part is he's a patroller from Whistler he should know better.
