I am 3 hours from dodge ridge (the closest), then about 3.5 hours to sierra, 3.5 to boreal and sugar bowl. 4 hours to squaw, alpine, heavenly, and northstar. Mammoth is about 7 hours, 5-6 hours in the summer when the tioga pass is open.

3 hours away from Killington :---:
1 1/2 hours away from Jay Peak :---:
2 hours away from Tremblant

The nearest ski resort from my house is St - Sauveur. I rarely ski at that reasort because I don't like small mountains

Hmm...Well for all those eastern resorts it's something like a 3 hour flight, then however long the drive is from NY or Boston or something, Or you could drive it, that's more like a day and a half. But then for Park City area, I timed it today, and it's about 9 hours door to door. For Colorado resorts, it's the 2 hour flight to Atlanta, then the 3.5 hour flight from Atlanta to Eagle/Vail or Denver, then there's the drive to get to any of the resorts.

For minutes:

540 to Park City area
1800+ driving to eastern resorts
360+ flying to eastern resorts
570+ to Colorado resorts

10 minutes to Ski Cooper, 25 to Copper, 40 to Vail or Beaver Creek, 60 to Monarch, Breckenridge, A-Basin, or Loveland. This of course is not counting traffic on I-70! :help:

Whereabouts in the Lower Mainland do you live? From B'ham, I could also get to Whistler in about 2 hours, the North Shore in an hour and 15 minutes. That's including the border crossing at Aldergrove.

From school, 5-6 hours to mammoth, and about 2-3 to bear.

for me its about 3 1/2 hour drive to the hills in lower michigan.(Bittersweet is one of 'em) They are way to small to be called mountains, although the local people say they are. Its all flat roads the whole drive! I did just get back from skiing in colorado which was an 18 1/2 hour drive at an average of 75 mph.
