It was $3.29 when I filled up today. One year ago I could fill the gas tank in my 1997 Toyota Tacoma for $25 now it costed me $43(.) That TDI Jetta that I really really want just looks more and more appealing to me everytime I fill up.

Ordered my 2006 smart fortwo pulse cdi a few weeks ago... I get it in January (5 months backordered). I can't wait! Already got the rack for my snowboard.

Heated seats, A/C, glass roof, shifter paddles! Def. lookning forward to the $15 fillups.

I get 12 miles to the gallon... *Ouch!*
Holy crap, your new truck only makes 12 mpg Bill? That's worse than my Tahoe which makes 18 mpg.
I would suggest going out and buying some performance upgrades like a better air filter and spark plugs. Also, keep your tires fully inflated because if you don't, there's more friction with the road which will cause your car to use up more gas.

Its has an onboard computer that measures my tire pressure (even the spare) and will notify me when one gets out of range. :)

Weird. The restrictions and classifications are nationally set, and states are bound by the national regulations. What Colorado law states you cannot drive out of the state? I would like to see that one. No laws in Washington put limits on the national regulations.
