It's pretty unique that Yan made some of his fixed grip lifts look like his HSQs. I only know of four lifts like this, Viking, Silver Queen and the two Snowshed lifts at Killington.

I don't know if opening up the doors was the best idea...
I like the look of the high speed quad style Yan FG too...the idea worked alot better on Yans than it does with Doppelmayrs (Snowbasin)

It was only the APU , and besides I didn't touch nothing.

Great Pics! Did you notice the old Yan HSQ chair sitting near the bottom of Silver Queen? I was there in January and they were using it as a bench. The Summit Chair is pretty cool, it's run on a diesel engine and it sounds like a tractor, plus the Summit Chair uses Riblet Insert Grips...

I also like silver queen. It was probably nice when the other yan hsq's were around as all the newer lifts matched each other.

great pics! I wonder if that YAN T-bar started its lift as a chair.. I didn't know YAN made t-bars. PS - I hope you had permission to open the panels on the Summit chair... that's the kind of things that makes resorts nervous.

It started out as a Meulller T-bar and was retrofitted by YAN when the other YAN lifts were installed at Silver Star.

I don't think it's smart to go climbing towers or opening things up WITHOUT PERMISSION. who cares if no one is around. What happens if u slip and fall? I don't think anyone should be climbing up ladders without the resorts permission period.

Zage use your head next time. Or you may just ruin it for all of us.

/end rant

I didn't go up the towers, I just opened the cabinets for Summit's APU, a mechanic was with me. That is all, Im did not climb any ladders.

In an early post which now has been editted (yes, I have the power to see all) you said that there was no one around, and on this post you said a mechanic was with you.

 Just pointing out a few bloopers, not to start any wars.
