Thanks for the photos. I read on the webpage that their system is the largest Aerial Tramway in North America... is that true? I remember riding the one at Canon Mountain when I was really little, and thinking it was just huge (I was terrofied of it, and my dad tried to calm me down by showing me the counterweight at the upper terminal). Also, isn't there a huge one out in California, maybe at Squaw?

Largest system, not largest tram. They have two large tram systems running side-by-side

Because Qwest is being really dumb right now and doesn't want to upgrade the remote terminal near my house for more users. The only way I can get DSL is if someone drops their DSL service and that's just crap.

Everyone around me has DSL except ME, it sucks!

Is the reason they keep all the old towers standing because they make handy light stands?

It probably is, it never said the Grouse Tram is the longest, but rather the largest. (where else in North America is there two different Large Tram systems running side-by side?)

Yes for the most part, there are some however that are still standing that don't have lights on them. The lights were always located on the towers when the chairs were in operation, so I guess they just figured instead of building new light stands, it would be easier just to keep the towers

They only use it when there isn't enough snow on the lower part of the run and when it is used it is run at like 2 m/s.

Here are the pictures. I didnt bother to resize them. Tried to get one of the top station of Blueberry but the camera focused on the snowflakes instead of the building! Its really wet, Expo's in good condition.

From where the picture was taken, the ski area is more than a mile away, there is hardly ever snow where the picture was taken.
