What? Ok were going off topic but when I was there, I was in a monorail that was controled by a computer rather than a person. It was the monorail that has the gray stripe.

I dont shop much or anything while im up their and I live in Vancouver so it doesnt cost quite as much. Still costs ALOT!

In my opinion, Big White and other places in the Okanogan are equally as good as Whistler. I think its a little overated.

I was up in kelowna two summers ago, and when we went to big white to check it out, we saw a whole lot of construction going on. Have they been trying to improve their village and amenities lately?

:offtopic: Going back to the lift colours, When we installed Jersey Cream in 1989 Doppelmayr thought that Jersey Cream was the colour. It all arrived, painted cream :P They had to repaint it all grey to cover it up. If you look close you can see the original paint where the grey is chipped off.

Big White seems to be trying to be Whistler of the interior.

I was wondering about that since I remember seeing a picture of the Jersey Cream lift in that color in a Doppelmayr ad in SAM Magazine of either 89 or 90.

Was the lift painted the next season Rob?

Im back! Very nice skiing! Tons of new snow! Very busy today, huge line for Creekside. I didnt get lots of pictures and they arent that good because it was a whiteout and my dad didnt want snow in the camera. I focused on Garbanzo, Orange, T-bars, Creekside, Harmony, and a couple others. 1-2 pictures for all of them. I also took some videos downloading on Creekside today, i will have them on my website as soon as possible. Aussierob, was there any reason why the Village Gondola was not running on Friday morning or was it just high winds.

Speaking of the Orange Chair, Last Thursday I was coming home from work, and I saw the lightboard...The Orange Chair was open! Grabbed my skis and pass, and shot up the Creekside Gondola as fast as I could and just as I was stepping of the Gondola, I could see the liftees locking up the hut and taking down the gates. :censored: :censored: I just missed it! I've still never ridden that lift!

If it was this last Thursday im mad 2! I was there!

I finished formatting the pictures, here they come.

Some are inside the gondolas so they are not so clear, also with the whiteout it was hard to get good pictures.
