We've much doppelcakes in eastern Canada.

Another weird thing is that we have old style chairs, but they're newer than 1986 (the newest dates from early 90s!).

That is quite interesting, as the HS lifts that date from even earlier in other locations, say Blackcomb, have new-style chairs.

In Quebec, they only have those ugly terminals built in the '80s
