Well, Chris is pretty busy with Snowjournal.com (his site) and other work stuff he said when he announced this a few weeks ago. So I don't know when Chris will have enough time to bring it back. Just think of the hits NWS would be getting if we thought about taking over SkiMaps.com B)

Well nobody said we could not do that too. The only catch is the amount of space and bandwidth the site would use. Which is probably why nobody ever offered to take it over. Most sites, like this one, are run out of loyalty to the hobby, meaning it costs them money to run. We discussed this in an earlier forum, the costs of running NWS.

I would be more then happy to take over skimaps.com. :) I have all teh space and bandwith that i could ever use. up to 300g of hd space.

Yea, Chris is moving everything to a home server soon. He has some friends hosting his site right now for pretty cheap I think because he knows them.

Skimaps.com is going up tonight and is in the process of being uploaded to the content server right now. :)
