It appears that the cabins will just hang from the cable with no actual hold, it will just hang there. Once it gets to the station, the cabin would be raised or the rope lowered to detach.

Isn't it odd that "politics" is made up of the word "poli" meaning many, and "tics" meaning blood-sucking creatures?

hsq got the bulk of it.. its a little more complex.. and also there is hold.. the grip has been calculated to hold a certain weight so it will be attached permantly up to 20 mph human winds. with the added weight of people on it it should stay just fine.

also if you havent read the first 2 posts... the new stats of te lift will be 60 feet approx. 15 towers approx.

im still looking for cabin dedicate"e" s.

do to some dificulties i am in a redesigning stage.. with the old scale th elift would techinically be too small for a gondola (or a decent one) so i scale dthe model down so it will be more realistic.

cabins and everything will eb the same.. jsut smaller..

good day.

i am starting constuction on the first proto cabin

i can have the pics of it up tonight if anyones intrested..

I would love to see some pics. Is that all you have so far since you're redesigning it?

ive recently been considering the lift being changed to a funitel.. i did all the designs for it an made a test cabin..

the whole idea will be the same.. it will go on the same place in my yard.. the stations dedicated to nws/skibachelpr and the cabins dedicated to members ..

all who say yes to this please post a yes or a no and if no tell me why not..

i think of makin this because it will be more challinging and more complex.. any thoughts please post

thanks mike!

I think that the funitel might go a bit better with the gravity grip. Would there still be two cables for each grip? I say YES!

I think that to edit the topic title you need to ask a moderator or administrator. I'm not sure if the moderators can do it, though. I don't know their priveleges. It would be great to see a funitel designed like this.

That looks pretty nice, but of course, I've never seen how a funitel really works, or at least a good idea.
