Hey,

I have been desiging a miniature detachable bi cable gondola, that is a lego persons scale.

i have tested all the different thigns need for it to work an dit does, from the grip to the auto door.

I am about to begin working on the final produckt that will be dedicated to ski lifts .org the terminals will be named after ski bachelor and NWS! the cabins will be named after me and the rest will be after other members of the site, if you want your screen name on this sit to appear on one, then i will surley consider you for being one.

now to the gondola.

It will have stations like a tb-41 poma.. blue and black are the colors.
the lift will be approx 110 human feet long.
will have approx 20 towers. and approx 30 cabins.. the whole ondola will be automated .. i am going to make this thread a journal and i will sho wconstuction photos.. design photos.. and i will update it weekly.

i am currently building all of the cars and am hoping to have 29 members of this site want to be on the cars.

ars will be red..and modeled after cwa omega III .. but will be distorted to hold 4 ppl standing up.

thanks.

Mike.

I'll go on a cabin. How do your grips work? and do you use a cadence chain or tiers in the terminal?, because on my bi-cable gondola I use a cadence chain.

ooooh, i have a system that pushes the hanger arm, the hanger arm will have some stabilizing bars so it dosnt sway, and the part of the grip that usually i s ont he track cable will be on a built in track that it will just sit on, the system has little bars that int he station the hanger will be attached to

i have some simple diagrams.. how do i post images here?

I would like a cabin! That sounds like an awesome project! :w00t: I was going to build a fixed grip chairlift with Knex, but I couldn't find the chain in the roller coaster set I got it in. :( This sounds like a much better project than the one I was going to set on. Have fun. I'm sure everyone wants to see the pics.

Ok, i am almost done with the proto cabin.

steps..i make a template. measure on paper the dimensions, cut out the pieces...cut out the windows.. duct tape the cabin parts together. make seats. wrap the cabin in black electrical tape. then rap the cabin in the final red electrical tape. i have pcs of most of the steps.. i will post the finished product tonight once my digi cam charges
