Yes as Dr. Frankenstein please visit our official forum http://forum.mountain-tycoon.com for updated news and information about the game.

As for our site. It will not be out for a while. This is becuase we want to have a demo and release that with the site.

As for the price of the game we are planning on trying to get a publisher to release it so that it can be bought in stores.

Unfortunately though in the past few weeks development of the game has slowed, ALOT! Members of our team are having time constraints and our artists are just getting an updated SDK so hopefully work will pick up this week.

Plus I just got back from a short trip so i wasn't able to keep watch on the game. I just gave out the SDK to other team members today because our head team member has not been online for a while.

New Mountain Tycoon Screenshot. Note - The background is a real life picture not from the game. The lift is by our newest artist Kyle. This is his first model for MT!

Isn't that modeled after a real custom gondola terminal? (I forget where it is)

I don't know what that lift is supposed to be but I only see one haul rope. Some type of jig-back lift?

Just wanted to update everyone on the status of Mountain Tycoon. We are at 60% completion! I along with Raph and the whole MT team have been working on this game very hard and lets just say its turning out to be AMAZING! This will finally give all of you the realism you want in a game like this. We have got over 50 different lifts in the game and growing! The game has beautiful models and great graphics! We're working hard and hope that you continue to support us with your suggestions and comments! You tell us want you want in the game and we can try to make it happen!

I think a lot of people are, myself being one of them. I promise to keep the screenshots coming. We need more artists like Bart who do great work. Also I am pleased to announce that I have Version 1.1 of Mountain Tycoon. This means that the game is progressing. We hope to get major things like the build system done in a month or two.

Mountain Tycoon will begin Beta Testing within 1 months time. A beta tester among other things must be willing to test the game extensively, find and report bugs, and offer suggestions on how to make the game better. Beta testers will be under the direction of me, Mattlab, and also Ironraph.

Applications will be submitted through a website which has not been made avaliable to the public as of yet. We would like however for people who are interested in Beta Testing to go to the following link and post in our sign up forum.

Click here to go to the official MT Beta Testing Forum

There is a preliminary sign-up list located there so that we can better gear the sign-up site in regards to amount of potential applicants and testers. Directions on how to sign up to the preliminary list are posted in the sign up forum of Mountain Tycoon. Once on the list you will be contaced via PM on the Mountain Tycoon Forum when the actual beta testing application process begins. We will take into account that you have posted on the preliminary list in our final decision process.

Any questions, concerns, or comments can be PMed to me via this forum or the official Mountain Tycoon Forum.

There is less than 1 week left to get your username on the perliminary signup list. After next Thursday you will have to be invited by a current betatester to become part of Mountain Tycoon Betatesting. The address to the betatesting website will not be posted on ANY forum! So hurry up and sign up on the list and you will be PMed the forum address so that you can be part of the Mountain Tycoon experience....the address will be PMed next Thursday!

The preliminary sign up list will close tommarow February 23, 2005 after 18:00 GMT -5 time. Thats 6:00 PM for everyone that lives on the East Coast of America. No more preliminary signups will be accepted after that time. Only those users on the list before that time will be PMed the address of the betatesting website. This will happen sometime later in the day after 18:00. The website will open to all February 24, 2005 at 0:00 hours GMT -5. Until that time the site will be disabled. Once the site is open please read the FAQ found on the site and then sign up and send a request to test. All instructions are found in the FAQ. If you have more questions you will be able to ask them via the FAQ or the sites forum.

-Mattlab

Note:Only members on the preliminary list will recieve the address of the Betatesting site. Those users can then invite others to join the test after they themselves have become Betatesters.
