That tram can run about 24 km/h, according to Poma.

Hmm. 12.5 m/sec is 45 km/h, though...

What i mean is that the gondola cannot go around the wheels at each end, i suppose what you call it is a tram.

Two more model ski lifts built.
I now have in addition to my 2 seat chairlift and tram a ropetow which runs from the midstation on the two seat chairlift and a cable car (like the ones in san francisco) running through the valley ( the floor ) I hope to take more pics and videos soon. :)

I would think that it would be hard to get a detachable grip to work with Knex. If you've done it, I'd like a close up.

I'd like to do one that stretches across my room with some materials @ home depot and some spare parts I have lurking around in my basement. It would have a couple of stations and would be a detatchable gondola with the best logo I've created for a ski resort so far on each cabin. Would anyone like a tower to be named after them? I'm only in the prelimenary stages of planning so far (it will probably be done by late August) so there might not be any dedications, but just in case please ask for a dedication.

I cen borrow my father's digital camera to take pictures, since I'm a close friend of Boeinglover's. I might be able to help him out too.

I do think this will actually work and I would love for highspeedquad's help! I just (about 5 minutes ago) took apart two remote control cars and removed the motors from them (a total of 2 small ones and 1 big one). I'll be using fishing wire for the cable (I should have enough from my old fishing pole). I do hope that it will be detatchable, but maybe not. It will be a gondola with 2 stations. I have a little (kind of) workbench down in my basement and an armful of tools. I'm right now calculating the dimensions of my room so that I know how much fishing wire to use. I'll be attempting to tie a tiny knot to tie this togeter. I might also break down and use superglue to bind the fishing wire. It will hopefully be detachable but it may not be. I think with a little help from my friends, this will work.
