The Climax T-Bar at the ski area of the same name was moved to Ski Cooper in the early 60s after the entire town of Climax was moved (to Leadville; you can still rent apartments that used to be part of the town). I don't know where at Cooper the lift went, but I'm guessing it ran where the Piney lift is today.

Tremblant (Summit quad) > Tremblant (Edge quad)
to be continued...
They took off the Bubbles when relocating the Tremblant Express
I am pretty sure that the "Summit Quad" used to be where the TGV lift is
Also, a ski instructor at Tremblant told me that they moved the old Flying Mile triple chair to become the Porte Du Soleil lift.

Also, Mt Pilchuck had 3 lifts (2 installed and one purchased and stored but never installed. Anyone know where they went? Scrap? There may be an old double chair installed at Meany Ski area soon to replace their very long rope tow. I'd guess it will most likely come from the scrap heap at Snoqualmie.

Pilchuck's lifts went to various places for spare parts. Apparently Crystal bought some, being as they had (at the time) four lifts of almost identical vintage. It would be interesting to find out if any of those parts went on old chair 2, and thence to Antelope Butte when they bought the lift...
When I was still at Baker we were negotiating with the Meany Ski Area to sell them our soon-to-be-removed C-5, but they wanted a donation. The board members who were willing to pay for it were voted down by those who weren't, and we weren't willing to give away a perfectly good lift for free.

Anyone have any idea if the Sun Up Lift was relocated from Beaver Creek as well? It seems to be a relocated as it is the older style. If so which lift was it at Beaver Creek?
Theres a place for all of God's creatures, right next to the mashed potatoes.
"You could say that a mountain is alot like a woman, once you think you know every inch of her and you're about to dip your skis into some soft, deep powder...Bam, you've got two broken legs, cracked ribs and you pay your $20 just to let her punch your lift ticket all over again"

The lift purchased for Crystal Springs was the Eskimo Lift from Winter Park.
This was a YAN triple converted with Poma line gear and a bunch of other mods.
We took it down and sold it to JH years ago. Still sittin' in a field in Alpine, WY.
Any offers?
