It seems snow has hit the western US. I checked Timberline, Bachelor and Mammoth cams today and all of them have snow in the pictures.

Yes! I need to go up and get my sheaves I stashed before the snow falls up here, otherwise I may not find them. :)

That's old news. We've had snow... but I wish it would hold off until I get done with my outdoor maintenance. I got the new Black Diamond tele catalogue today, though, so I'm getting the jones for some skiing :P

There's snow on all the mountains around us, just not us!! It can stay away until all the carriers are back in the air... We started on Motherlode today - they were all off for a rope test.

in an odd twist in weather it suddenly got warm today. Infact warmer than it's been all month. so maybe there might not be any early snow like predicted in this new season of fall.

I don't know if you'd call it lucky, but we had around six inches on top. There was about four in the base, but that's all melted off. I did have to shovel out a lot of stuff yesterday in order to get a solid working surface, though.
All the snow has got people in a skiing mode. Race camp (where we run E-lift exclusively for traning camps) opens the 23rd of October, and full public opening is the 5th of November. Yes Bill, I need to get my @$$ in gear if we want to get the Flyer completely finished by then. :help: Fortunately, we never open the Flyer right off; it usually waits at leas a week.
