Thats for sure, I drove through that area in the year of the forest fires, 98 or 99. The smoke was so bad in one area we had to pull over due to lack of visibility. Our winter here in NJ has been crazy, record snowfalls and a weak blizzard. Now in the summer though it is around 90', too hot for my taste. We have been traveling up in vermont though and it was around 70, my perfect temp.

I think that there should be winter where it is below freezeing every day and then like in april it should change over to summer and be like 80's but I hate that dumb in the middle crap like when it is 40 or 50 degress because it feels cold but not cold enough for snow. I would say my perfect temp is 78 to 82 and in the winter i like it about 24 to 30.

So much for drought we've had soo much rain that we are now way above average and the gorund is so wet that the water just runs off and floods anything that gets in its way.

Must be nice, although I wouldn't want Allan's 38 C. It's been raining almost nonstop here for the past couple days, with lots of lightning and thunder, and the temps aren't getting much above 20 C.

See above post, but add that it's now snowing above 12,900'/3900M and I've got frost in my windshield...

Summer is half over and I really don't think that we have had a day hit 90 here yet. In fact, most of the days have been in the 70's and rainy or cloudy. I have only been in the pool once...it's been too cold otherwise. Usually by now all of the lawns in my neighborhood are starting to brown out because of the heat, but they are all green, green, green. You'd think that we all had sprinkler systems. I only hope that come winter we can continue to have the percipitation that we have had this summer.

It's been hovering around 100 here since my last post saying it was 100 on the 16th!

Is it really August? Friday it snowed all day, and Saturday morning we had a hard freeze above 9500'. That triggered the aspens' seasonal change mode, and we should have fall colours here in a couple weeks if not sooner. Hopefully this means an early winter, except for the small fact that we're way behind on our maintenance programme...

Yea, we are in august. Its been around 90-95 lately. It always seems to get hot around this time of year as well as in early may. The middle of summer is always weak, but whatever. Im hoping october 30th can be day 1. :)
