Pretty good stuff. They have ropes, chairs, tower parts, a few sheaves, a bus, snowmaker, hanger arms, tower head pieces, a shack, and so much more. I will explore it a bit more later in the year.

Yep, Yan doble chairs. How did you find out the name of the old Yan? Was there a piece of the terminal there?

the top shack is still sitting on the slopes, and it says lower. Ill get the pics up soon

my qwest this year is to find the boneyard @ wp. I think i know where it is. But it will mean hiking up into a area that is off limits to the public............ is it really worth it?

Pretty much the same thing that's in our boneyard, Mueller double chairs, Mueller sheave assemblies, Yan triple chairs, Yan lift shacks, Yan Tower heads, Yan sheave assemblies, Mueller tower heads, Mueller grip bodies, Thiokol grips. We have a big rack of sheaves by our shop, mainly Yan & Mueller. It won't really be worth going up there in the winter - most of the good stuff is buried :)

Kind of going off-topic a little, but why don't resorts just ship this stuff off to a scrap yard than bringing down the resorts image? I mean I would keep some stuff, but not have a pile of junk. Hoodoo needs to clean up their bone yard. A lot of Riblet towers, chairs, and sheaves that can be sold for some $.

from what i heard. there are some of the old triple chairs from the old eskimo lift.... :) and some spare parts laying around. but we will see. if i find it this weekend most of it won't be buried. do to lack of snow. :(

Our boneyard gets buried in snow in the winter, and turns into a heli pad :) I don't know why resorts do this, but they all seem to! And scrap metal can be used by resorts for various other things, like building ramp supports, and things like that.
