Check out all the lifts at this mountain. Theres like 8 lifts that end here.

The ski area you are talking about is the Kronplatz in Italy ! There are several Companies who own the different gondolas. There is one skipass for the whole area, the companies get more money out of it, if they have a newer gondola! even this year they replaced an gondola which was just some years old, with the same capacity! (Sorry for bad English, hope you understood what I wanted to say!)

You made perfect sense and thats all in proper english. :)

Here in North America it's one company that owns the lifts and the mountain rather than different companies like in Europe. People put investments into the ski area known as stocks and the resort company does what they wish with it. If their earnings are up you make money, if their earnings are down you loose money. I kind of like our way better because theres more control of what goes on with the ski resort, but it would be cool to own your own lift. :)

I think its 20 towers. Probably a 10 minute ride. It really sucks becasue that is the best part of the mountain, and the lifts to get to it are so slow; an old yan, then a traverse, then a 15 minute (at least) long 85 ctec triple

The Riblet towers, It looks as if someone threw a bunch of metal in a pile and welded it together. That CTEC chair looks nice. I have never been on a Garaventa or a CTEC chair, but I like the way they look.

CTEC lifts are my favorites- probably because they're based in SLC and there are tons of them in Utah (DV's got 11, PCMR has 9, The canoyns has 8, Snowbird has 4 (including thr Garaventa tram), Alta has a bunch too, Brighton has 2, Solitude has 8 (all /ctec mtn)

Check out this drive terminal! This has to be one of the oddest looking designs for a drive terminal I've seen.
