NY for 3 weeks in November on an overhaul project.
Just got back from 10 days cruising in the Southern Caribbean.
Ready to make some turns in all this Pow that Colorado's received while I was gone!

Oh my.. we can't let that happen, now can we. Well- to bring it back ON topic... do we think these lifts will all be added for the 2017/2018 season or could they be later?

Not listed in that fiscal report, but Beaver Creek announced today the replacement of Drink of Water with a Doppelmayr high speed quad.

http://blog.beavercr...igh-speed-quad/

So basically, all four of the Vail Resorts areas in Colorado are getting one new chairlift: the Red Buffalo Express lift at Beaver Creek, the Northwoods Express lift at Vail, the Falcon SuperChair at Breckenridge, and the Montezuma Express lift at Keystone.

Does feel a bit much to put a high speed quad on Drink of Water when there's already the Cinch Express lift serving that same terrain, but given Beaver Creek's 100% accessible from high speed chairlifts marketing ploy, I guess it makes sense.

On a sidenote, Breck needs to market the fact that with the upgrade of the Falcon SuperChair, each peak will have one six pack on it: the Falcon SuperChair (Peak 10), Quicksilver Super6 (Peak 9), the Colorado SuperChair (Peak 8), the Independence SuperChair (Peak 7), and the Kensho SuperChair (Peak 6).

I don't think marketing a 6-pack chair is all that great.. just means you are sharing a cramped chair with 5 others! Nothing makes me happy about that.

It beats standing in line shoulder to shoulder with 3 other people for 30 minutes
and the LPOA 6 pack chairs don't seem as cramped to me... :w00t:
