lol kind of reminds me of reggae lines....
This is the best I could find online, but I do remember the line stretching to where this photo was taken (This photo was taken on a weekday)

Past the lift is a traverse down to the sunbowl, which has no lines typically. That day, everyone thought I was cutting the line when I was trying to weave through.

Sometimes that happens at Gunstock NH usually during midday (possibly because a couple are on break???)

Well to be fair, in the third picture the gondola and the chair next to it were on wind hold, which meant it was the only way out of the base.

I usually survive the lines, because after out of the base the sunbowl tends to have uncanny lift lines. These were taken the same day, first at main base and second at sunbowl base (And neither during lunch):

The only day I ever have had line problems were the following:
MLK weekend, upper sunbowl six-pack was completely shut down and broken, lower was stopping every 15 seconds, with a three hour long
Burton US open (It was in sunbowl). Too bad stratton doesn't host it anymore...

Or maybe not too bad.
lunch can be a problem anywhere though. Alta pulled the words out of my mouth, put it on a sign, and threw it on a tower of wildcat:

Anyways, back on topic, the snowbowl express replacement is getting hinted by Stratton:

You do realize those are from two and three years ago, right? It's been hinted at for years.

Yes I know that, although look at how close they are. They have to finish dealing with financing (Which I'm assuming they could have in 2 years), get a FS permit and call LP or dopp. They could reuse the towers with new detach equipment and chairs, new sheaves, keep the towerheads if possible and be done. 90 degree loading at bottom station and standard at top, they could keep the towers all the same excluding a portal depression tower to replace the one currently attached to the terminal:

I'm not in the industry, but I know for a fact installing towers and concrete footings (they would still need to install 5, both terminals have 2 and the bottom depression portal tower) is one of the most, if not the most expensive part in installing lifts.

I don't know. They must have fallen off/been taken off like on the South American quad:

Those end caps seem to fall off a lot. All of Squaws alpha models have the same problem.

I have four Poma quad Alpha drives and about 3/4 of the tube covers are missing. Some of them blew away in the wind and others fell apart after being UV'd by the sun and then eventually blew away. Now Marmots like to hang out in there.

Was thinking of buying new end caps to keep those critters out hopefully. Never ending battle.

Huh, I have yet to see one without the end caps lol
Couldn't there be a way to screw them on better or something?

I would think that ones made from light gauge steel would be an option.
