Hey Peter,

Great pics of the lift construction at both resorts! How come we can only enlarge some of them though? The Solitude pics, I can only enlarge a couple of the last ones and the new trail map.

Great pictures! That liftline reminds me of Peruvian as well, although the section that crosses under Cathedral looks very similar to the STH section of Gad 2.

Based on the photo, High Alpine isn't using the Omega carrier. Rather, it's using a quad version of the LPA6-OC chairs that are used by Breckenridge's newer high speed six packs. I believe these new chairs for High Alpine are designated as LPA4-OC models and are a bubbleless version of what is used on Okemo's new Quantum Four lift. I mean, compare those chairs waiting to be installed on High Alpine with this chair on the Colorado SuperChair:

The carriers going in at Snowmass and Purgatory are designated as 4 Place EEZ II. The LPA4-CC has a totally different hanger, connection and bail.

They're still sorta quad versions of the Colorado and Kensho SuperChairs' chairs, though.

Has anyone been up to The Canyons and seen what the repainted lifts look like? It looks like they left the bubble chair as is, which makes sense as it's already silver-gray and the orange windows are in theme. It still has its orange infinity logo though (instagram picture from the other day of the new snow they got this week). Did they repaint all the other lifts, and did they leave the "Express" titles on there? The PCMR lifts all don't have "Express" painted on them, even though the new trail map adds it.

I think they've gotten all of the Canyons side's detachables and maybe some of the fixed grips repainted, Orange Bubble aside.

Not a new lift, but the Falcon SuperChair on Peak 10 has received a new lift sign on the bottom terminal, replacing the original one that had been used since 1986.

The new carrier design being used on these lifts, plus Legends and Loveland's Ptarmigan Chair, reminds me of the design of the Competition carriers from a few lifts built between 1988 and 1993 for some reason. I know they're not the same, but still.

Marble in Newfoundland. The one that got hit by lightning and burnt up the upper terminal. Bit of refurbishing of course.

Well sort of, one terminal came from Marble and the other came from Mt. Tremblant as one of the terminals from marble was used to fix a burnt up terminal at Tremblant. The grips came from Marble, I think the line equipment is from the original take four. All of the grips and terminals were remanufactured in GJ.

All, or the majority of, the towers on Take Four, are recycled from the old lift. I think there might be one or two towers that have brand new crossarms.
