Boyne Highlands is replacing Camelot with components from the CTEC double at the Porkies. Early 90s motor room, not sure what else is going with it, as the rest is from the original 1968 Miner-Denver. Sounds like the bottom terminal will no longer be in the chalet and moved uphill instead.

I still remember learning to ski on Ponderosa. Hope to see Rose expand more soon.

Does anyone know the status of the supposed quad going in at Christmas Mountain Village? Their webcams show no work at all.

Does anyone know if the new Siberia Express at Squaw will be a Doppelmayr or Leitner-Poma?

Nope. L-P. Same with the base-to-base gondola when that happens.

Shouldn't be too long before we see pictures of the lift standing. The new line has been up for a while.

A Partek fixed grip quad and triple are being installed at the new Nation Winter Activity Center (formerly Hidden Valley) in Vernon, NJ.

Not quite a new lift but was hiking past Lake Louise today and saw them working on an old Yan triple. Seems that it has had quite an upgrade with the help of Poma. All new electronics, sheave trains and tower heads, plus a few other bit I assume.

I wanna see what else they might tweak about Jackson Gore. Might have to stop by sometime. I dunno

Not sure if this has already been mentioned on this thread already, but apparently Mt Rose relocated one of their beginner lifts this summer. The lift was formerly known as Ponderosa and its new name is Wizard. It now serves a bit of new terrain.

I know they added snowmaking to a couple of the formerly natural snow black diamond trails over there to go with the bubble upgrade.

Let's just hope that those bubles don't see the hands of vandals that want to scratch their names and other bad things into the bubbles.

Wasn't quite sure where to put this but Poma released their Reference Book, containing picture of some of their projects from the past year including lifts at Squaw Valley, Purgatory, Loveland and Snowmass.

The 8 seater lift is the 8th installation by Leitner at Kitz that uses the Direct Drive system- no gearbox. These installations also include a 2 stage 8 passenger Gondola.
Interesting that when you open the link there is an ad that says "Lifts and ropeways presented by: Doppelmayr" :temper:
