Pomerelle is replacing their SLI double with a new SkyTrac triple.

SkyTrac will give them a nice lift no doubt, just sad to see another classic go to the scrapper :(

Yup, Wildwood was repossessed a few years back. Was rebuilt for Brian Head before this past season.

The 2 Soldier Yans are in storage, not built yet. I don't think they plan to replace the existing chairs, would be used for expansion.

Thanks. I hope the HSQ works well for Brian Head. I am curious to know where the 2 stored Yans came from though.. they were not originally installed at Soldier..

Ahhh! Wonderful! the old Dollar Mountain Yans? Dollar & Half Dollar? Or perhaps they are thinking big time and are going to send out the old Mayday or Exhibition?

Apparently not going to the scrapper (yet.) Was sold to a resort in Montana.

From the Sipapu Website....

Watch Facebook or Twitter as Arizona Snowbowl successfully installs its first lift in 30 years and expands the nation's most progressive snowmaking system as Snowbowl prepares to be the first ski area to open in Arizona.

I contacted SkyTrac lifts, they have two complete lift projects and a number of terminal replacement or lift modification projects this summer. Some resorts get upset if you let the cat out of the bag so I'll just say that one of the new lifts is in ID and the other is in AZ.

new Skytrac quad lift at Arizona Snowbowl will be the Humphreys Peak lift

Has it been mentioned here that Powderhorn's HSQ is going to be called the Flat Top Flyer? Powderhorn has a picture on their Instagram page.

My lift is already called the Flyer.... All kidding aside, I'm happy to see them improve their hill no matter whose name they steal for put on their lift.

I was wondering the same thing myself. There are two SLI lifts in Montana, one at Teton Pass near Choteau and one at Bear Paw near Havre. Neither would be expanding, they might be getting them for parts if there was not much money involved

SkyTrac coming on strong at the end this year, very nice. What brand is/was that lift supposed to be? I wonder which parts they already had.

I think it was a Doppelmayr double chair, they had the whole lift but much of it was not properly stored when construction was halted.

Those are meant to be outside, what could possibly be wrong with it.

I can't really tell from the picture but doesn't one of those sheave frames look bent and are those doppelmayr towers? They look more like CTEC.
