"also a six pack at Squaw Valley Ca, LP"

I know this is rumored but does anyone have confirmation that it is actually happening?

It's already a six on their online trailmap, kinda odd...

If you look at the former Sun Bowl Quad in Storage, you can only see towers and lifting frames. Mostly frames since the towers were reused on the new quad. Makes me wonder where the chairs went, and the bullwheel and such. Are those usually stored on site? I remember seeing a gallery collection of the Mount Snow boneyard and you saw everything except for the very rare terminal.

(edit : they could potentially be stored outside of the area where the picture is taken, but still on site)

Same map has Sherwood as a triple. Seems like they just got lazy.

They may be in a trailer.

So, currently, as of today, Doppelmayr has 15 projects on hand:

1. High speed six pack at the Hermitage club
2. Teton Express high speed quad at Jackson Hole
3. Lutsen Gondola
4. Fixed grip quad at Mount Cascades, Quebec
5. PCMR/Canyons Interconnect Gondola at Park City
6. Motherlode Express high speed quad at Park City
7. King Con Express high speed six pack at Park City
8. Rafferty fixed grip quad at Snow King
9. Summit Express high speed quad at Solitude
10. Summit Express high speed six pack at Sugar Mountain
11. Valley House fixed grip quad at Sugarbush
12. Teepee Town Express high speed quad at Sunshine Village
13. Avanti Express high speed six pack at Vail
14. Green Peak triple (relocated) at Waterville
15. Relocated triple at Mount Sunapee

Leitner-Poma has at least five projects in North America, four of them alone in Colorado:

1. Upper "Ptarmigan" or "2B" triple chairlift at Loveland
2. Legends Express high speed quad at Purgatory
3. High Alpine Express high speed quad at Snowmass
4. Take Four Express high speed quad at Powderhorn
5. Fixed grip quad at Timber Ridge, MI

If Sunapee does a lift project this year, it would likely be the replacement of the Doppelmayr Triple with the Poma FGQ.
As of this weekend, no work has been done on the Waterville project, making it unlikely to happen this year.

West Mountain, NY bought the Barnstormer Triple from the Hermitage Club that is being removed this summer. They bought an extra drive terminal and return bullwheel because the lift is long enough that it can be used to replace 2 lifts.

The first lift it is replacing is the Riblet Summit Double which is very old and has a center pole. It is very awkward to load and as a result stops a lot. This lift will definitely be replaced this year.

The second lift that will be replaced is the Thiokol Triple on the other side of the mountain. It is even slower than the Summit Double. This lift will likely not be done for 15-16, but will for 16-17.

The triple from the Hermitage Club will be able to operate considerably faster than the current 2 lifts.

I wonder where they got the extra drive/return. Sugarbush maybe? Valley House had a Poma terminal that would be about the same age. That was a double tough, so not sure if the bullwheels would work.

I would think they could make it work for a triple though. They'd just need angles sheaves at the bottom and top to widen the line to that of a triple chair. The D-Lift at Hunter which is I believe one of Poma's first triple chairs has that setup, but with a Delta Terminal instead.

While perusing resortboneyard.com, I found the drive terminal from Saddleback's Rangley Chair listed. It's a 2004 D-TEC Sprint terminal driving a 1963 Mueller. My guess is it will be replaced with something, as it's the main artery up and out of the basin. Any rumors as to what might be going on?

Okemo is replacing the chairs on the Jackson Gore Express with bubble chairs this summer and renaming it the Quantum 4. They're also installing a new Poma fixed grip quad in the new South Face Village which I speculate will reuse the old Jackson Gore Express chairs.

Question : How is a non bubble lift/automatic bar lift converted into a bubble lift/automatic bar lift? Is it more than just installing carriers and sensor switches (and whatnot?)

The re-use of J Gore's chairs is news to me, but certainly a possibility.
