Was it replaced or did it merely receive new siding? Seems a waste to replace the building unless it was too small or structurally unsound. 2MileHi?

The top terminal at Peru got new siding about 3 - 4 years ago. I was at Breck when this was done.

The new siding would coincide with when the lift terminals were repainted from beige into the current dark green.

Most of the high speed quads at Vail from pre-2010 have received new wood siding for their lift operator shacks in the past five years. All lifts built since then have had the same type of siding, including the High Noon Express, Mountaintop Express, and (in the future) the Avanti Express.

But that's irrelevant. Steamboat's high speed quads are another great instance of cosmetic changes. The four that existed prior to the construction of the Sunshine Express lift all used to be painted either blue or blue-and-white. Around the time Intrawest ownership took over, the Storm Peak Express and Sundown Express lifts were repainted a dark gray, with the raised stacks painted red. The Thunderhead Express was repainted in 2009, and the Pony Express in 2010.

Most of the base area lifts at Canyons received cosmetic differences, cabins and stations repainted on Red Pine, plus towers, cabins and stations repainted on the Cabriolet and Waldorf Gondola because of the Canyons Transformation and new logo.

And presumably VR is going to have to repaint all of the Canyons lifts again into PCMR's cream-white paint job (with the possible exception of Orange Bubble).

The Valley Run Quad at Waterville Valley has a new sign that says "Valley Run" instead of "Quadzilla" Unfortunately, I never bothered to take a picture of the old sign...

White Peaks Express Quad got new padding, which looks a bit different, and is much more comfortable as well :

If you can't notice, and I do apologize for the last photo being a little hard to make out, the chairs now have a single piece backpad, and a butt pad that is also one piece with slots for the handles on the safety bar.

For some reason (shortage of supplies?) Chairs 1-45 are unchanged, chairs 46-90 have a 4-piece backpad and the new seat pad, while 91-143 are all-new padding.
I also found it very funny that both photos were taken of carrier #99. Such luck!

Image didn't load, I couldn't see it. But that reminds me that yes, there was a coat of paint before the green, as well as a few extra hunks of metal to make it look better.

The hat looked a bit silly and the smile looked a bit creepy.

On a different example of a cosmetic change, the Beaver Run SuperChair. Its terminals have always been painted orange (to blend in with the colors of the Beaver Run Resort).

But for a while, the upper terminal lift shack was painted gray:

Around 2008 or 2009, the upper terminal shack was repainted in a color that's cross between orange and brown, and in 2014, the same year the Colorado SuperChair was upgrdaded, the Beaver Run SuperChair's Competition chairs were replaced with Omega chairs taken off the original Colorado SuperChair:
