These two photos were taken on Lift 6 at the same spot at the same approximate time about a year apart. What's the difference between them?

an ugly paint job :( Why can't some resorts just leave well enough alone? Also there was more snow in the 2nd picture :)

Educated Guess (Please Don't Laugh, I'm Pathetic and I know)
Is that the 6 chair?
I was guessing that the lift in the background was the Imperial Express, and after checking out the map I saw 6 ended where the Imperial Express starts.
Obviously the towers were repainted and there was much more snow in the later picture.
Did I guess right?

I mean, I liked Quicksilver before they repainted it last year and got rid of that iconic Quicksilver Super6 logo so they could rename it as "Quicksilver SuperChair". I always thought the Quicksilver Super6 name was better.
And don't get me wrong, but the resort only has repainted the Riblets with this color. The Pomas have not had their tower tubes subjected to this, although it is known that there have been some small repaintings over the past few years at the Mercury SuperChair, Rocky Mountain SuperChair and Quicksilver, which were limited to their terminals. Admittedly it worked out for the best with Lift 7 since they renumbered all of the towers when that lift was repainted in 2012, I think, to account for any towers added in the 2008 modifications.

The point I'm making here is that the new brown on Lift 6 doesn't look as nice as the silver look of the first photo. But then again, last year, all of the Breckenridge Riblets had this paint (and Lift 6 only got it last year) last year except for Lift E.

The Pomas at Breck have galvanized towers so they won't get painted.

Snowpack looks terrible in the upper picture... Reminds me of Mineral during the 2011-2012 year. We don't speak about that year. ~300 inches... It was terrible.
